These Terms and Conditions govern your use of MOFATE OneHealth. Our Privacy Policy is available separately and should be read alongside these Terms.
By registering for or using MOFATE ONE HEALTH, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. The platform supports teleconsultations, referrals, professional directories, education and Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and related community and facility services.
MOFATE may collect names, contact details, professional information, account credentials, payment records and, where necessary, health information. Data shall be processed lawfully and only for legitimate purposes, including service delivery, account management, communication, referrals, CPD records, security and legal compliance. Personal data shall not be sold to third parties. Data may be shared with authorized service providers, relevant professionals or institutions only where necessary, appropriately authorized or otherwise permitted by law.
MOFATE shall implement reasonable technical, organizational and administrative safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse. Access shall be restricted according to authorized roles and responsibilities. Users must protect their passwords, provide accurate information and promptly report suspected unauthorized account access. No digital system can guarantee absolute security.
If a personal data breach occurs, MOFATE shall investigate, contain and assess the incident, take appropriate corrective measures, and notify affected users and relevant authorities where required by applicable law. Users should promptly report suspected breaches through MOFATE's designated contact channels.
Subject to applicable law, users may request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and exercise other applicable data protection rights. MOFATE shall retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for its stated purposes, legal obligations, legitimate recordkeeping and dispute resolution. Certain records may need to be retained after account closure.
Users may request account closure or discontinue use of the platform by contacting MOFATE through its official communication channels. MOFATE may suspend or terminate access for serious misuse, unlawful activity, security risks or material violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law. Account closure does not automatically erase records that must lawfully be retained. Outstanding payments, completed transactions, confidentiality obligations and accrued legal rights shall survive termination where applicable.
MOFATE ONE HEALTH facilitates digital health communication, referrals and professional services. It does not replace emergency medical care, and teleconsultations may not be suitable for every condition. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of appropriately qualified healthcare professionals. Users should seek immediate in-person emergency care when necessary.
Users must not submit unlawful, misleading, harmful or unauthorized content, infringe third-party rights, or attempt to compromise platform security. Users retain ownership of their original submissions but grant MOFATE the limited permissions necessary to administer, review and display them for the stated platform purposes. Any broader promotional use shall be subject to applicable permissions and consent.
MOFATE may update these Terms to reflect operational, technological or legal changes and shall communicate material changes appropriately. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance where legally valid. These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
