Referral workflow

From decision to handover

  1. 01

    Create

    The referring clinician records patient summary, urgency category and reason for transfer. The receiving facility is selected from live capacity data.

  2. 02

    Coordinate

    The receiving team accepts or redirects, discusses the case in the attached consultation thread, and prepares for arrival.

  3. 03

    Close out

    Status transitions are timestamped and attributed. Every referral ends with a complete, auditable record.

Access

Registration requires a professional registration number and an affiliated facility.

Accounts are issued per person and scoped by role — clinician, nurse, midwife, administrator or CPD learner. Facility administrators manage their own staff roster.
